What it is

What it is, in one minute.

  • A reusable teaching system for Spanish teachers, middle school through high school. The teacher picks the artwork. The system supplies the five-step flow (Introduce, Observe, Draw, Talk, Write), prompts and sentence starters at four levels, vocabulary, and slides.
  • Students describe, discuss, and write in Spanish. Prompts come at four levels, so the same artwork works from Spanish 1 through AP.
  • Digital only. Delivered through a member login: a 16-lesson text walkthrough, plus Google Docs, Google Slides, and a Google Sheet the teacher copies and edits. No video lessons. Nothing ships.
  • What it isn’t: a textbook, a full curriculum, or a set of artworks chosen for you. Teachers use it for the artwork lessons they teach, alongside what the school already requires.

Questions

Questions administrators ask.

Does each teacher need their own copy?

Yes. Each teacher who uses it with students needs their own purchase and license. Buying for several teachers? Email [email protected] and tell us how many.

Can we see it before we buy?

Yes. The Free Lesson Scripts are a complete lesson, free. It uses the same five steps as the full system. Get the free lesson

Can I apply a coupon?

No. Coupons are not valid on purchase orders.

Does it fit our textbook and pacing guide?

Historia de Arte is a teaching system, not a standards-mapped curriculum. The teacher chooses the artwork and decides how it fits their course and your school’s requirements.

What if I change my mind?

Purchase orders are non-refundable, and all sales are final. That’s why the free lesson is there first, and why we’re glad to answer questions before you order.

Subject: Spanish materials request: Historia de Arte

Hi [NAME],

I’d like to use Historia de Arte with my Spanish [LEVEL] classes. It’s a teaching system for teaching Spanish through art. I pick the artwork, and it supplies the five-step lesson flow, prompts at four levels, vocabulary, and slides. Students describe, discuss, and write in Spanish.

The cost is $197 plus a teacher license of [$99 for 1 to 30 students / $250 for 31 or more], so [$296 / $447] in total. It’s digital, with nothing to ship, and I’d use it alongside our current materials.

The details and purchase-order steps are here: historiadearte.com/schools. Could we cover it from [department / PD / curriculum] funds?

Thank you!
